Congratulations everyone. Over in toys. Frank and Becky had to make a 2nd trip and come back for the rest there were so many! Awesome.

The Toy Drive was started to give something back to the community that we so enjoy. In the last few years we've been donating the toys to the Gustine Lyons Club where Frank & Becky live as this makes a much larger impact.

For players the 'donation' is mandatory. Family and friend's donations are appreciated but optional. We fund everything ourselves and ask for nothing in return, except a toy. To thank you for your participation and efforts, for every $10 worth of toys you donate you get a raffle ticket!.

Toy Drive 2009 – Toys N’ More

In the past 14 years the Turkey Bowl players, family, and fans have donated almost $30,000.00 dollars worth of toys. The donations were initially made to the Santa Clara County Chapter. 1999 the city of Gustine became our sponsor city in honor of Frank. In 2004 the Turkey Bowl received the key to the city for it’s donation efforts. Yearly our toys ensure every under privileged child in Gustine receives a toy. Surrounding counties in Central California benefit from the consistent overflow, this is the game’s proudest achievement.

How to donate: Bring the toy to the fpd Turkey Bowl Draft Party. Contact a Turkey Bowl person in management (Buck or Scott) and give them the toy. Leave contact information via this website for free pick-up if you need or email buck@turkeybowl.com

What to donate: New unwrapped toy ($10 value and up), Canned food, and new or decent used clothes. All will be distributed to the Gustine Lyons Club, and other charities in their area.

Why donate: To assist others less fortunate or for those who have to get something in return we will be raffling off prizes again this year. Taxes…stick it to Uncle Sam for once and write off your TB donations.

Bonus: For donations that include canned food or clothing additional raffle tickets will be given.

Of course the kids are the real winners, but I hope you win too! In this tough economic climate we understand that multiple donations could be tough, we suggest telling a friend or relative and offer to deliver the donation for them. This way we can “pay it forward” (sorry horrible movie, I know, but a good idea) and truly brighten up a child’s Christmas. I have seen their smiles and appreciation personally and it is amazing.
